I am so sorry to read of Murray's passing. My condolences to all members of Murray's family. I have good memories of working on various jobs with Murray at UNB. and enjoyed hearing him play the bagpipes.

I was sad to hear this news back in Saskatchewan. Murray and his brother Doug grew up on Assiniboine Avenue in Regina next to the home my brother Tom, Doug and myself grew up in. You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

My deepest sympathy to Murray’s family. Murray was a kind and gentle presence in our midst. He was very dedicated to helping out those in need who came to the doors of Saint Andrew’s Church on Charlotte Street ably assisted by his friendly dog. He was a reliable participant in many church activities but also and perhaps even more remarkable in his loving and steadfast care of his wife. Murray will be missed. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the whole family. Murry was my very dedicated Pipe Sgt for all the years I was pipe Major of the Oromocto pipes and drums and Branch 93 legion. I have known Murray for many years. I first heard him practicing his pipes when I took lessens from his neighbour Don Felstrom as a youngster in Regina. We connected as adults when I was posted to gagetown. You will be missed Murray.
