Obituary of Donald Archibald Campbell

On August 5th, 2022, it is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to Donald Archibald Campbell. He was released from the burden of ALS at home with his family at his side. He was the most amazing and loving husband, father, brother, son, papa, and adored friend. Donald was predeceased by his mother Joan Campbell (Beaton) and his in-laws Lloyd and Noreen as well as his brother-in-law Gary MacDonald. He is survived by his loving wife Connie (MacDonald) of 43 amazing years; children Jeremy (Melissa); Jacquelyn (Aaron) Stephenson; and Jonathan (William); and his grandchildren Kashius, Jenai, Delilah, Amelia, and Karter, who brought him so much joy. As well as his father Douglas and brothers Lorne (Carma) and Ashley (Jodi) and sister-in-law Shirley, and many nieces and nephews. Donald was a dedicated man. To know him was to witness his commitment. Not only was he dedicated to his business at Primerica Financial Services, but he was also truly a wonder with his over 20 years of service as Director at Tay Valley Bible Camp. He was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church. His camp family and church family were extremely important to him. Donald’s faith was an essential part of his life. A shining example of the things you can do when you place your trust in the lord. We truly want to thank Dr. Neil Manson and the staff of the Orthopedic unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Your compassion and attention meant so much to us. As well as a thank you for the care he received at the DECH and Stan Cassidy. McAdam’s Funeral Home has been entrusted with Donald’s final arrangements. A visitation will be held at the Faith Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Faith Baptist Church.
