Dear Theresa, Janet Moss(McBride) shared this sad news with me. It was lovely moving to Woodfield Crescent in 1963 and finding your family living right across the street. A young couple and their expanding family who made us very welcome. I can remember your kids learning to ride their bikes on Woodfield Cres, me visiting you on Xmas morning for the Xmas pandemonium; you and I sitting and talking in the shade beside your house as the kids played around us in the summer. I didn't get to know Ron as well as I did you but he was there, calm, warm and smiling. I remember he had a real health scare many years ago and now know he recovered and survived for a long time. I am so glad you had 62 years together; what an accomplishment, that and all those kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids. Please pass on my condolences and love to them all but particularly the oldest 3 girls who were so young when we met and I just loved them.

I was very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I have many fond childhood memories of being at your home with kids milling about, Therese baking something in the kitchen and Ron sitting quietly in his favourite chair, while this hive of activity swirled around him. I know you will miss him dearly.
