I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Wanda's passing. Wanda and I were loyal members of the Regent Mall Walking Club. We enjoyed many hours of conversation and a few coffee's while winding down after our vigorous promenades. She was always smiling, a great listener and had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed, may she rest in peace.
The attached photo is of the "walking club", taken February 2008 at the Regent Mall Food Court. In the photo are in front: Betty WASHBURN, middle row (L-R) Mary Lou HAMEL, Rose JOHNSTON, Marge GRANT, & Lorry MAPLES-DIGIACINTO and in the back row (L-R) are: Lois and Ron CUNNINGHAM , Danny McNeill and Wanda KLINGBELL.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family. I am a classmate from nursing school and was across the hall from Wanda during our 3td year. Wanda was always front and centre during our reunions and she will be missed by all in our class. A genuine, caring person, a “ great Nurse”. Nancy Robertson Gillies

Condolences are being sent to the Family of Dear Wanda. I was a student nurse with Wanda who had a huge personality , quick wit and an infectious laugh. As she was on a different residence floor than I, it was at our 25th reunion that I really bonded with her , and truly appreciated the beautiful person she was. On the veranda of our cottage, we smoked and shared nursing and family stories. Lois she spoke of you and your wonderful relationship, and it was obvious that family she held close to her heart. I feel privileged to have shared time with her. RIP Wanda! Dawn Tait (nee Corbett)

Dear Lois and Family,
Wanda will surely be missed at St. Andrews church. She always called me Ruthy. I’d like to tell you a joke that she told me, but I would have to tell you privately lol. She surely enjoyed life to the fullest. And you were so special to her. Our Tuesday morning group will surely miss her. I am a resident of York Care now, but I will be listening to her service tomorrow morning.
With much sympathy,
Ruth and Hollie Craig

Dear Lois and to all the others in Wanda's family,
John and I offer our deepest condolences on the death of Wanda. It was such a shock. I knew her from the pews we sat in for a long time in Saint Andrew's, Ladies' Group, and other Church activities. I remember how kind she was to our friend Mary Lou when she dying and how Wanda took right over and looked after her to the end. This was the essential Wanda. I will miss seeing her when we return to NB for a visit. Because He Lives, you will all be together again one day.
Keeping you in our prayers and hearts during this very sad, and hard time.
Shiela and John White, formerly of Saint Andrew's Church

Our condolences to Wanda's family whom she loved so much and was so proud of; and to Lois especially our prayers go out to as they were so very close. She will be missed by me as a very dear friend in whom I loved getting together with for lunchs; coffee times; had a bus tour to Halifax once. Loved her no nonsense attitude; laugh and that deep voice; but especially her caring heart. When found out my husband never got a mince pie or tarts from me since his mother passed started giving at Christmas our first taste of homemade mincemeat pie; then tarts hadn't had for many years. That was Wanda. Will be missed but never forgotten. Dianne and Jim Clowater

Wanda was a dear friend to us, and especially to Edith. When Edith's brother James passed away in 2006, Wanda was the first to offer to help clean up the house and prepare it for winter. The following spring, she assisted at a reception for the family of her brother Robert and his wife Joan, when their ashes were buried in Harvey Cemetery. We played many a game of Skip-Bo with Wanda and Lois and had many pre-Christmas dinners together. And every September, the sisters would pack a bag of fresh corn and bring it to the farm for a corn boil. Edith and Wanda visited many shut-ins at Saint Andrew's Church together, and Basil will not soon forget the moments after services at Saint Andrew's Church when the two sisters would come down the aisle and give him a big hug. We will miss you, Wanda. Our sympathy goes out to Lois, to Mark and Bonny and their children, and to her step-son and his family in Manitoba.
