Obituary of Alexander William Ladds

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Andy “Grunt” Ladds. Born in Fredericton, Andy was the son of the late William F. and Carol A. (Banks) Ladds. Grunt enjoyed the outdoors, full moons, hunting and most of all the camp. Grunt worked most of his life at the Big Potato or with various paving companies in Fredericton. He will always be remembered as a hard worker. Andy is survived by his twin sisters, Janet (Larry) and Jennifer (Raymond). He is also survived by his children, daughter Melissa, sons Carter and Alex and he shared a special bond with Colten Sangster. Andy will be remembered and missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16 from 1 to 3 pm. A graveside committal service will follow at the Maugerville Baptist Cemetery at 4 pm, followed by a reception to be held at the Maugerville Community Center where family and friends are encouraged to share memories and stories of Andy. For those who wish, donations in Andy’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
