Madelyn was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. A very sweet and loving woman. I'll never forget how good she was to so many of us who grew up in Nackawic, NB. I have such fond memories of her.

I want to send my condolescences, love and prayers to Steve, Cathy, Greg and family (and extra love to Ella and Katie). I am so so sorry that I cannot be in Fredericton to be with you during this time but I also know that Madelyn is now free, at peace and with Charlie! Madelyn and I worked together on many projects since 1991 and we had so many laughs in the process. She was an amazing woman with a way of seeing the giftedness in each person she met and the ability to call those gifts forward in a gentle and affirming way. I will cherish my memories of youth retreats, youth rallies and World Youth Day adventures to places across the world with her and many young people. I hope you know the number of lives Madelyn touched and changed for the better, including mine! Know that I hold you in my heart as you celebrate her life and grieve her loss in these days. With love, Sister Karen Kelly, CND

I want to offer my condolences to the family of Madelyn, especially her sister, Joan, whom I graduated with from DRHS. Upon reading the obituary, it was obvious that Madelyn walked closely with the Lord and went to great lengths to serve and honour Him with her life.
May you feel God's strong arms of comfort surrounding you, as He walks with you through this sad valley.
Love and prayers, Fran( Frances Partridge) Jones

Dear family of Madelyn, I had the great good fortune to work with Madelyn on many adventures and projects while she was with the Diocesan Religious Ed Office. What a delightful, positive, wise, and faith-filled person she was!
I learned from her, and she was always encouraging and supportive of my sharing and my ideas when we teamed up. Madelyn was a true friend I will continue to miss. Sister Eleanor McCloskey,CND

My deepest sympathies to Gregory, Stephen, Cathryn and their families. I often think of the good times we had at our first jobs in Montreal at Queen Mary Veterans hospital.
In 1965 Madelyn, Anne and I travelled to Europe for a few months. We had some unforgettable experiences.
It hurts my heart to hear of her passing. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
