Don, so sorry to learn that Carole passed away . Carole and I met at Teachers’ college and then we were at Mt. A at the same time. Hard to believe I have known you since Grade One when we started elementary school together. Although we have spent most of our lives a long distance apart, we have managed to stay in touch all of these years.
I know you will miss her so much as will all that knew her.
Ross joins me in sending our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Don, I am so saddened to lose my Canadian
friend, and one of my longest friendships. I have no idea how many letters we wrote over the years, it was such a special friendship. I will miss hearing her voice on the telephone, and the visits to Ludlow. A very lovely lady and true friend. God bless you Carole, love Margaret, your UK friend x

Donald and family,
What a dear gentle lady! We enjoyed Carole and your visits to our greenhouse. Carole and I would walk together picking out plants while you and Brian chit chatted! I can still hear Carole's sweet voice saying, "I'll see what Donald is going to get"! I'm delighted to have had one more short conversation with Carole at the Pharmacy a few weeks ago.
Her strength and courage to carry on in spite of difficult health issues over the years that we knew her was certainly evident. Thinking of you and the family she spoke so highly of with sincere sympathy.

I will be forever grateful for the time spent working in Carol's kitchen in Codys. I was a university student testing recipes for the cookbook released by the Queens County Historical Society. She was a gem to work with and we spent many hours that summer working in her beautiful kitchen. Rest in peace, Carol. My condolences to Carol's family.

Don and all members of Carole's family, I am saddened to learn of Carole's death. She was a faithful colleague of mine in Sussex. When she moved to Fredericton, I had the good fortune to be able to fill her position, not her shoes. Her hand writing was unique and will always be etched in my mind. I will not ever forget the Queen Victoria celebration my husband and I attended in Cody's. Your hospitality Don with Carole's was a class act. Thank You.

To Donald, Debbie and Hal and other close relatives:
We would like to express sincere condolences to each of you. Carole was a wonderful friend to me over the years. She was such a kind and lovely person. We worked together at Sussex High School and Sussex Regional High and I always appreciated her guidance and support. She was a very dedicated teacher, fondly thought of by her students. After she finished teaching,it was wonderful that she had the opportunity to travel and to partake in so many of the things that she thoroughly loved. It is unfortunate that she had to endure health issues over the years. May each of you have loving memories of Carole to help you through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Glenna and Marty Cameron
