Dear Joan, family and friends. Please accept our heart felt sympathy. Les was a good brother and friend. I always enjoyed times with Les. I appreciated the hours we spent on lodge work and solving world problems, the occasional game of pool, coffee/tea and sometime something stronger. Those good times will be missed. My sympathies to all the family on Leslie's passing. All of us kids spent a lot of time at Percy and Marguerite's when we were growing up and we all knew Leslie very well. He always visited our house whenever he came to see his mother and father. Mom and Leslie graduated in the same class from the Gagetown Grammar School. I bought my first car from Leslie when the family was living in Dartmouth in 1973. Leslie, like his parents, was always very nice to talk to. My condolences to everyone.

Joan, Diane, Jeff and ALL Members of Your Family -
With deepest sadness we send this note to all of you. Having known Les and Joan for a long time through connections with both Jemseg and Gagetown, we became family related when our son and their daughter met while attending college in P.E.I., they eventually married and we shared the special blessing of our grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After Les retired and he and Joan moved to Island View, we have all lived nearby enjoying our roots - country life. Les so kindly shared produce yielded from the garden he surely enjoyed working at and the fruit from his raspberry canes - a testimony to life growing up on the family farm in Gagetown. Being a proud Shriner, Les tirelessly volunteered his time to support the organization and the needs of others - How fitting to have memorial donations designated to the cause that meant so much to him. May you find comfort in knowing we are here for ALL of you to help in any way, no matter how big or small - we truly share in the tremendous loss you all bear. Rest In Peace, Grampy Les.
- Sending our love to all. - Most Sincerely sent, Shirley and Cedric.

Condolences to the family of Leslie Murray especially Joan and Diane. Les walked by my house every day to fetch the mail. I will remember his pleasant demeanor and how he always said hello to me as he walked by and sometimes stopped in to look at by bike. This was the man with a green thumb. Despite all the deer around the neighborhood Leslie effortlessly grew the best vegetable garden and raspberry patch I have ever seen.

Condolences to the Murray Family. Les will be missed by the morning coffee crew. He always walked into Tim Horton's with a smile on his face and quickly joined the conversation.

Our deepest condolences to Joan and Dianne for the loss of your husband and Dad. Les was a great neighbor for over three decades. We’ll miss the friendly chats in our yards. We shared a love of the outdoors, puttering in the yards, stories of the woods and water as well as being armchair GM’s for the Toronto Blue Jays. He was a friendly and respected man who will be missed. Our thoughts are with you.
