What an incredible life Alex lived and we are proud to have known such a remarkable woman. Growing up, Alex and Teresa were very much a part of our family ... they were permanent fixtures at our dining table for special occasions, parties and family gatherings. We very much admired Alex for her intelligence, independence, her courage and her strength. She was very adventurous and loved to travel in earlier years and many of our family treasures are presents brought back from one of her European trips. We are proud to know that Alex and our mom, Anne Warren, were instrumental in creating the Community Soup Kitchen. We admired that even with her loss of eyesight, Alex could still knit and make fabulous gifts for people and continue to play bridge. We were so pleased that she was able to stay in her beautiful home until her death. We wish to extend our condolences to the family and to Julie. Alex will be dearly missed.

tante Alex was my Wonderwoman. My most cherished memory was sending her off on a cruise ship to England in 61 or 62 from Quebec City when i was 6 or 7 yrs old. my grandparents and Maman et Papa, Hectorine and Georges were there . we had come by train. She has lived such a fulfilling century and more. I will miss her.

All of us who played bridge with Alex - even as recently as two months ago - knew what an enthusiast she was generally about life. The last time at her house, we saw hats she had recently knitted. Despite compromised vision and hearing, Alex was a great example of how to age with a positive and engaged outlook. We will all miss her.
Sympathy to all who cherished Alex,
Jayne Nicki

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Alexandria M Robichaud. Alex was an outstanding teacher, professor, an assistant to Northumberland's Superintendent for 3 decades and was mine as well sharing guidebooks as I started teaching on a local licence. While studying at STU I boarded at Alex's. Alex taught me how to live alone and cook for myself. I even built my home like Alex's, my living room over looks my garden too. RIPAlex! Dolores Dinan

Going to miss my friend Alex. We had lots of fun over the years. I would take Alex for drives around Fredericton and UNB. She would explain to me what each building were that she either studied or worked at. She showed me how to cook and would always have either home made buns and/or cookies to give me. That was a treat. My family enjoyed it when I would come home and I would say look what I have. Homemade buns and cookies. Yum. Would like to take this time to thank Julie and family for all they have done for Alex. Alex was so lucky to have Julie that looked after all her needs and especially I’ve heard that Julie’s husband Glen was a good cook and Alex was able to enjoy good food especially her favourite lamb chops. Good bye my friend Alex. You will be missed.

Our mother, Mae Marie Chiasson-Fisher came to Fredericton at the age of 14 from Shippagan, to live with the Robichaud family. Alex was the same age as our mother. Years later when they were in their late 90ies, Alexandria paid a surprise visit to our mother. They were so pleased to visit with each other to talk about their lives. They had their picture taken, mum kept this picture by her bed side until she passed at the age of 101. She often spoke of Alexandria and how fond she was of her, her visit was an act of kindness to our mother.

Helena and I were Alex neighbour for 23 years. She shared her many stories of the struggles for her early education and the launching of her career as a teacher as an Acadian in Fredericton.
We had many across the fence conversations and delighted in listening to words from her quick wit. She loved oysters and we shared many.
Our condolences to her long time attendant Julie and her caring family
