Obituary of George Alvey Hill

After a long illness, George Alvey Hill passed away on July 24, 2023, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 17, 1942, he was the son of the late George and Helen Marie (O’Brien) Hill, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

George wore many hats, military, law enforcement, paramedicine, and security. His last career position was head of security at the Marysville NB Power facility, which he loved. All of his coworkers were thought of as his family, he cherished them all.

He will be greatly missed by his soulmate, Valerie MacPhee, and stepdaughter, Nadia MacPhee (Eric Paquet).

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his sister, Darlene Judd.

Cremation will take place. In keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no services. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA.
