Norma Jean for many years was the envelope secretary for our congregation ... and I know she counted on Phil for help and support. Topgether they kept track of weekly offerings, made bank deposits, sorted out problems, and reported on the trends. Phil had a great knowledge of our congregational and church history. Together they worked quietly and tirelessly for the Cathedral. In his own right, Phil was one of the more active members of the Holy Joe's ... including being a smiling face at the donations table as we entered the hall for our annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper. He has contributed much and will be miossed by many.

My sincere condolences to the family of Phil Belyea on your loss. He was a real gentleman, sincere, kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. As a member of the Cathedral’s Guild of Saint Joseph, I recall his expert work, when I was the Cathedral secretary, building a book shelf for me in my office! So beautifully made it was. I will keep your family in my prayers at this time. God bless.

Phil was the epitome of a sheer gentleman. He and Norma Jean found a great love, made so many precious memories together. He was one of those people you were so fortunate to meet in your life. My mother thought so much of that couple. They are blessed to be together again.

Please accept my condolences on the death of Phil Belyea, a wonderful, kind, and patient man.. Phil was mainly responsible for my joining the Guild of St. Joseph's at Christ Church Cathedral in 2005. Phil was an exemplary executive member of this Guild for many years. Our men's group is diminished through his passing. May light perpetual shine on Phil's soul.
