I am saddened to here of Ronnie's death. Growing up, Ronnie was an integral part of our neighbourhood (Jaffrey & St. Mary's Street). He was always hanging around with my brothers Rick, Rod, and Kenny whether there was band playing in the back shed, someone was working on a car, winter sliding over the hill, or playing pick up hockey on the river (skates not necessarily needed). I left right after high school to go to college in Nova Scotia. When I moved back (retired almost 50 years later) after foot surgery I hoped on bus to go over town. I had hardly sat down when I heard his voice from the back of the bus: "Is that you, Kathi?" My brothers have all passed away. Bumping into Ronnie at various events over the past few years was always an opportunity to talk about the people who populated our common past, remember the good times and smile. To Ronnie's family, I was to hear of Ronnie's passing. Sorry for your loss . My thoughts and prayers are with the Murdock family.I first met him back when he was on the Marysville Corvettes Senior baseball team 1978. After his playing days he attended games as a loyal Royals supporter when he was able to. Once in a while I'd bump into him at UNB where I worked. We often talked baseball and over the years he kept in touch with a phone call to see how the Royals were doing or I'd call to see how he was doing. He'll be missed. Terry Arnold
