Obituary of Barbara Ann (Nash) Brosnan

The family of Barbara Ann (Nash) Brosnan, 75 of Fredericton, New Brunswick sadly announces she passed away on November 27, 2023. 

Barbara was born on July 21,  1948 to Phillip and Mildred (Charters) Nash in Fredericton, NB.   She later moved to Brampton, ON,  working customer care, and to raise her family, eventually moving back to Fredericton to care for her mother, and to retire.

She was most proud of being a mother to her beloved children Colleen, and Mike, also being a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Michael, and Mikaela. 

Barbara is lovingly remembered by her children, Colleen Brosnan and Mike Brosnan; her grandchildren, Michael Brosnan and Mikaela Brosnan; her nieces, Barbara Mazey, Kim Mazey, Cindy (Douglas) Tapp; her great Nephew, Tyler Mazey-Smith; and her great niece, Sarah Douglas.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Douglas. 

A special thanks to St. Mary’s First Nation, for their support, helpfulness, and kindness.  Also a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at DECH who cared for Barbara, and kept her comfortable.  Your kindness never went unnoticed. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdams Funeral Home.  In keeping to Barabara’s wishes, her funeral service will be private.  The interment will be held at Douglas Rural Cemetery, next spring.
