Obituary of Roger Joseph Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death Roger Joseph Johnson of Minto, NB. He died at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital with his fiancée and family at his side. Born in Richibucto-Village, NB, he was the son of the late Fieele and Mary Anne (Richard) Johnson and the loving fiancée of Donna Boucher.

Roger was raised in Richibucto-Village, NB with a strong work ethic. He worked for Minto Hospital for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing with Donna. His ready humour was enjoyed by all as he loved to tease and make people laugh. He will be sadly missed by all.

Roger is survived by his fiancée Donna Boucher; step daughter Lenore (Jeff ); brothers, Gerard (Maria) Johnson and Benoit Johnson; sisters Laurianne Fraser (Ricky) and Rejeanne Mercier (Charles) all of Minto, NB, as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends.

There will be no visitation by Roger’s request. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, December 4 th, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Fr.. David Fulton as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Bridgets Catholic Cemetery following the service.
