Obituary of Lev Kramer Semenovich
It is with great sadness that the family of Lev Kramer Semenovich announce his passing on December 17th, 2023, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Saran, Kazakhstan, he was the son of the late Semon and Zoya Kramer.
Some of Lev’s favorite hobbies were fishing, sunbathing, playing cards, completing crossword puzzles, tending to his flower garden, foraging for wild mushrooms, and making food, particularly for his beloved family. There was so much love that he had for his family, and he just adored the grandchildren. He loved to get the family laughing, especially by telling them a good joke, but sometimes the joke was so good that he could not finish telling it before he was laughing so hard that he was starting to cry. Due to his caring nature and the love for his family, it is easy for them to describe him as one of the best listeners with the sweetest smile. It did not matter the situation, Lev was always there, and he was ready to help out.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Galina; son Vladimir Kramer (Elena Kramer); granddaughter Nikol Kramer; grandson Alex Kramer; brother Alexander Kramer, as well as many extended family members.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, a family viewing will take place, then a funeral service will follow at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023, at 2 pm. Interment will be held at the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
