I lived in Les’s basement appartment during the 2015-2016 school year while I attended St. Thomas. Even with our difference in age, his generosity&youthful energy allowed us to form a friendship sharing all sorts of stories about life over a cold beverage. He was a great man that made everyone feel welcome. My condolences.

Tracey and Lori's family. My sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad and Sister. Les was a great friend to many of us and I had the honor of working with him for many years at NB Govt. He and Donna were wonderful with our kids and opened their home and 'pool' to all...He was a great sportsman and always ready for a competition. Rest easy my friend...we will miss you a great deal.

Tracey, I am so sorry for your loss, Lori and your Dad were both wonderful people, cherish the memories. Les was definitely the Mayor of Bessborough Street and I recall being dragged into many "Old Sams/White Star" sponsored Council meetings....not sure we accomplished anything but we sure had some good times, he will be missed!! Sending Deepest Condolences to you and your family.

I was tending bar at the RCAFA, what seems now a whole lifetime ago, and have many fond memories of Les and his sense of humour. Darts were always much more fun when he was playing, and all the teasing and ribbing kept everyone on their toes.
RIP Les.
