Obituary of Louise Robichaud

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Louise Robichaud which occurred at Hospice House, Fredericton, on December 10, 2020, ten days short of her 90th birthday. She was the wife of Leonard Robichaud. Born at Ste. Marie, Kent County, and formerly of Minto, Louise was the daughter of the late Edward and Mathilda (LeBlanc) Roy. Besides her husband, left to grieve are son Ivan (Sharon) of Fredericton, NB, her son Eric Robichaud (Jane) of Saint Andre, NB, and daughter Jeannette Matthews (Clayton) of Baillie, NB. She is also survived by brother Yvon and a sister, Florence. Predeceased by an infant daughter Rita, a son David, and by brothers Frank, Norman, Omer, Jim and sisters Leah, Nelida, Maria and Emma. Also survived by grandchildren Trent (Tanya) of Fredericton, Danielle (Andrew) of Dartmouth, NS, Shane (Krista) of Fredericton, Michael (Emily) of Calgary, AB, Patrick (Christy) of Dartmouth, NS, Dwayne (Jennifer) of Georgia, US, Allison of St. Petersburg, US. Great grandchildren Jack, Carter, Beckett, Adelaide, Bryson and Harper. Also, to grieve are several nieces and nephews. Louise was a member of Les Dames de Saint Anne, Minto, was an avid bowler, bingo player, and was very proud of her baking prowess. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Hospice House Fredericton for the excellent care and compassion. Also, thanks to all the health professionals who gave Louise such wonderful care over the years. Special thanks to Dr. Stephanie Frenette. Donations in Louise's memory to Hospice House Fredericton would be greatly appreciated by the family. A memorial mass will be held from St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am.
