Obituary of Joseph George Richard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Richard of Fredericton, NB, at the age of 68.

Born in Rexton, NB, to the late Rubin and Elsie (Chevarie) Richard, he is survived by brothers, Norman (James Whitehead) of Saint Andrews, NB; Claude (Mélanise Comeau) of Ottawa, ON and Eric of Moncton, NB.

He is also survived by two nieces, Josette Richard of Gatineau, QC; Caroline Richard (Francois Langlais) of Pembroke, ON, and their children Aiden, Alexa, India, Mathéa and Cameron.

George was employed by the New Brunswick Department of Environment during most of his working life.

George will be missed by his family, friends, and most notably the religious community in which he was an active member.

Burial will take place in the Rexton Catholic Church Cemetery at a later date.
