I just saw this obituary. My deepest condolences to Dixie's family, especially Jamie, Danny, Davey, and Lisa (names as I knew them more than 50 years ago). I never met the youngest Anna.
While it hurts now to lose your mother, I'm sure, I hope there is some consolation in that she had a long and interesting life.
Best regards,
Mike Wendt (from Nova Scotia, now in Ottawa)

I am very sorry to hear of Dixie’s passing, my condolences to her family. She was a dear patient who always brightened my day when I saw her. She will be missed. I will attach a photo of the sweetest note she included with a thoughtful gift on my last day working at the office, which was the last time I saw her. I think it accurately reflects how kind her heart was.

What a sweet person Dixie was! We first became acquainted when she was a member of the Christ Church Cathedral choir, and we always enjoyed catching up. The last time we had a chat was at the Parish Church, which she dearly loved. She also attended the CCC breakfasts which were popular one Saturday a month before the pandemic. I send my condolences to all her family. Sincerely, Carolyn Turney

Dixie was a neighbor of mine for several years and we always shared news of the neighborhood. I also walked home with her on occasion after the 8:30am service in years past. My sincere condolences to the family and to Jacob and Alysha at this time.
