I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to everyone in Mrs. Duncan's family. She was an amazing teacher and all around wonderful human being. It's been many years since I've seen Mrs. Duncan, but she remains with me through my happy memories of being in her grade four class at Forest Hill Elementary.

Jeannie, PGM and I, PGP shared three busy years together as we planned for and then visited all the Eastern Star Chapters in New Brunswick, culminating with our July 2013 Grand Chapter Sessions. She was meticulous and precise in her plans as we wrote and rewrote our greetings and reports. Jeannie had a great sense of humour and was in every sense of the word, a "Lady". I will miss her smile, wisdom and grace.
My condolences to her son Jonathan and grandson Nicholas for both of whom she cared so deeply and talked about often.

Sincere sympathy on the passing of Sister Jean. I knew her through Eastern Star. She was a very special lady. I sang at her Installation when she went in as Worthy Grand Matron. So very organized, she even gave me the copy of the piece she wanted me to sing.
My sympathy goes out to all the family.
Margaret McCully PGM Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Duncan was my 4th grade teacher at Forest Hill. She was funny, companionate, and warmhearted. She is one of the reasons I went into education. I can still remember her telling me, "don't make a mountain out of a molehill" which is a phrase I use with my students. Thank you for the impact you had in my life. My condolences to her family and friends.

My favorite teacher ever. She put so much emphasis on reading and creating. I still have some of the books she gave me from way back then. (1993 or so). Thank you, for always being so funny, encouraging, and most of all supportive. I'll miss you.

Jonathon, so sorry to hear of your momās passing. Mrs. Duncan was one of my favourite teachers at Forest Hill. I can still hear her saying āalmost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenadesā. She was loved by many at that school.
