Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my old high school and university buddy. Although we had lost contact over the intervening years, the memories of those great “old days” come flooding back. Wonderful to hear of his Christian commitment - when it’s all been said and done, that’s all that really matters. See you soon my friend.

To the Family of Dr. George I remember 'seeing this person around' when I was a teenager. He was three years older than I. I have a physician friend who was at Dalhousie Medical School when they were both medical students. My friend was telling me once about the rigor of medical study, and that occasionally there was temptation to drop out. He said 'Eddie George packed his bags three times'. The world can be grateful that he didn't pack them and follow through. Bill Walker

DEAR FANILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEGUES OF DR. EDDIE GEORGE. My sincere condolences and sympathy as you travel this sad journey and celebrate the amazing life of Dr. Eddie George. I have left Fredericton many years ago--but I remember Eddie and his drum concerts in the 1960 s. Brother Tony was our Latin proff in FHS. I really feel , that new Canadians in 2024 would do well -to achieve, even a quarter of the success in building a new life in Canada -- and, can only hope to gain the love of Fredericton---the way the whole City loved and respected ,all the George Family. I have wonderful and fond memories of Dr. George and his beautiful wife Kathy from their days in Fredericton when I babysat for them and had a wonderful connection with the George family through St. Dunstan's church. He was a kind and gentle soul and had a committed love to God. Sending my most sincere condolences to his family. Rest peacefully Dr. George.

We are truly greatful for his medical attention given to our new born son Jeff in 1970, and until Dr Eddie left Fredericton. Jeff was born with club feet also.
