Obituary of Joseph "Joe" William Arsenault
It is with sadness that the family of Joseph William Arsenault announces his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers hospital on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born in Moncton on October 7, 1949 to the late Zoel Arsenault and the late Ina Chase (Trenholm).
He is survived by his wife, Krista (Fenety), his brothers, Albert (Jocelyn) and George, his sisters Holly MacDonald (Ralph), and Mary Arsenault, stepmother, Emma Arsenault, brother in law, Peter Fenety (Beverly), sisters in law, Susan Fenety, Jane Beyea, Anne Fenety (Kaye Parker), and Mary Ann Fenety, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved pets, Max and Merlin. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Jimmy, step father, Israel Chase, parents-in-law, Jack and Joyce Fenety, brothers-in-law, Michael Fenety, Don Beyea and Tommy Doherty.
Joe was an iron worker and millright in his early years. At age 26 he ventured into the apartment rental business that he worked at for over 40 years. Krista and Joe spent many years in Clearwater, Florida, returning back home in 2001 to be closer to family. Joe had an infectious smile. He was very charming and knew how to talk to people. He made friends easily and was loved by many.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church, 5 Valley Ranch Rd, Irishtown, on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 am. For those who wish, donations can be made to the SPCA
