Obituary of Jenny Bush

It is with sadness that the family of Jenny Bush announces her death at Hospice Fredericton on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the age of 64. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was the wife of Greg Bush.

In addition to her husband, Greg, Jenny leaves behind her children, Jesse Bush and Mikayla Clowater (Josh); grandchildren, Nico and Finn Clowater; father, Michael Strelbisky; brothers, Peter Strelbisky and Michael Strelbisky (Maria); sister, Angela Fulford (Daniel), and a large extended family. Jennifer was predeceased by her mother, Mae (Miln) Strelbisky; sister, Mary-Anne Freudiger (Paul).

Jenny grew up in Burlington, Ontario, where she met and married her highschool sweetheart. They later moved to Guelph, Ontario, where they started their family with their two children prior to moving to New Brunswick in the summer of 1994. They learned that New Brunswick was a great place to raise children and enjoy the outdoors.

One of Jenny's proudest accomplishments was designing and planning out her dream home with her husband on Lake George which was completed in February 2024. She got to enjoy Christmas and other family events at the lakehouse. She always made Christmas’ special with her baking and decorating. She made a tradition of hand making ornaments for all of her family and close friends which everyone has come to cherish. She had a great love for anything hands on. She loved gardening and was even giving gardening advice in her final days. She was especially proud to be a grandmother to two wonderful boys who she adored. The two grandsons had a special bond with their “Nana” and enjoyed spending most weekends at the Lakehouse together.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Monday, May 27, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will begin at 6:00 pm. For those who wish, donations in Jennifer’s memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton or The War Amps.
