We have many memories of you and your family that come to mind at this time of your father's passing. There are not many left of the old Lawson gang. We also remember your mother and father sitting in "their spot" at St Paul's. We think of you Jim often and hope our paths cross again soon.

I met Don Leonard upon my arrival in Fredericton to begin my Urology.I believe I purchased two autos with his help. Don was a splendid, polite and kind man who liked people.A very decent man that I met over many years later. My condolences to his family and especially his daughter, Jane Donald MacQuarrie MD

I was very sorry to see that the wonderful gentleman I knew as Mr. Leonard had passed away. I grew up on Squires Street, across and a little down from their home. I will always remember the time when, while learning to drive, I received a special standard-transmission lesson in a 1970s Porsche 911. After I returned, Mr. Leonard knocked on the door and excitedly asked my dad if he was looking into buying a Porsche: he had several contacts who could offer a good deal. My dad sadly did not buy me a Porsche, but we all had a great laugh. I feel that was a great example of the kind of person Mr. Leonard was: friendly, outgoing, and always willing to help a neighbour. He paid attention to the goings-on around the street, and was happy to say hello whenever I saw him.
