I was truly shocked at the news of his passing today. I thought this man would live to be 130 years old, he had the health of a 30 year old and the eagerness to work of a young man! Phong, my heart goes out to you and all Chris's friends. I so enjoyed hearing about his stories and how much he loved to work. He was a very very special person and his kindness and love has greatly impacted Phong and his life for the better, and for that thank you. Phong is such a great person and I feel that Chris's love and guidance along the way molded him to be the same. All my love, Roslyn Sambles

Dear Phong, I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was so looking forward to celebrating his 90th with his family in Viet Nam. I was honoured to have him for several years as my Tuesday morning duplicate bridge partner and a friend. I cherished his regular phone calls with the greeting "Hello, young lady." He will be missed.
