Obituary of Dika Kadiric

With broken hearts, the family of Dika Kadiric announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital on August 10th, 2024. Born on September 25, 1963 in Bosnia, she was the daughter of Rešid and Safa Dervisević.

Dika will be missed and forever cherished by her husband, Enver; children, Erna (Adam), Ernes (Erica), and Dina (Tristan); grandchildren, Jackson, Kylar, Benjamin, and Kacy; siblings, Mirsad (Siaja), Samka (Ismet), Sadifa (Zuhdija), Semsa (Smajko) and Mirsada (Edin), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dika joins her parents and two infant children in heaven.

An expert knitter, her creations will be cherished forever. She was the best cook, especially when she was cooking for her family, the most important people in her life. She was an incredible wife, the best mother and nana on the planet, and had a laugh that you could recognize as soon as you heard it.

Dika will be laid to rest in the Fredericton Islamic Association Cemetery on Monday, August 12, 2024 surrounded by her friends and family. Taken too soon; loved forever.
