Hi, I am sending our condolences on behalf of Edward and Nancy Christie. We live in Harvey Station and I lived with your parents and you two when you were very young. I was attending Teacher's College and myself and a friend boarded in the basement of your family home on Cambridge Crescent, Skyline Acres. This was taking place from 1966-1969, when I moved home to marry Edward. I was Nancy Smith then. Edward and i were planning to come into the visiting tonight, but were called down to friends' place early this morning as both were very sick, and, of course, were tested positive for covid. So we decided we should not be around people for a few days to see if we contracted it, which we are hoping we did not. We are disappointed that we could not see you as we have not seen you since you were very young. Your parents looked after me very well and I enjoyed living there very much. I remember your dad taking us to college in his mustang as he drove to work. Your mom always invited us to go along with her when she went shopping and was never late with our good meals. Edward and I would run into her from time to time in town and got caught up with family news. Your parents attended our wedding July 5, 1969. They both treated us like family. We both are so sorry to hear about Barb but she is now in a better place. Our deepest sympathy to you and we are thinking of you during this sad and difficult time. Sincerely, Nancy and Edward Christie.

My most sincere condolences to Barb's family. She was a great lady. She gave me my start in a crown corp and 30 years later, I'm still around under the provincial umbrella. Over all those years, I crossed paths with her both professionally and personally and she will be truly missed.

Barb and Eugene were our next door neighbours when they built their new home here in Hanwell, and we got to know them well. I also had the special pleasure in working with Barb when she served as Ministerial Executive Assistant for a number of years, in helping her sort out a number of constituent's problems. She had a sharp mind and worked hard to find solutions that made sense. Her passing is a great loss. Condolences to her family. Clyde Spinney

To her family, my sincere sympathy. I worked with Barb at RBC, and we had some good laughs. She called herself an old bag when she was in her 40's. Her ability to laugh at herself and situations was truly fun.
Dementia... bless her heart.
