Obituary of Jimmy Pantillano

It is with sadness that the family of Jimmy Pantillano announces his passing on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was the husband of Ivy Pantillano of Fredericton.

Jimmy was born in Rizal, Quezon City, Philippines on March 20, 1973. He moved to Lloydminster, Alberta in 2014 and then moved moved to Fredericton, NB in 2017. He went back to the Philippines in 2019 to fetch his family. Bringing his family to Canada was one of his biggest achievements.

He was a beloved son to Cecilia Uligan and the late Arturo Pantillano, a brother to Joel Pantillano, a loving husband to Ivy Grace Pantillano, and a superman-like father to Daphne Pantillano, Dwayne Pantillano, and Daequan Pantillano. 

He was a very active and athletic man. Even after being diagnosed with cancer, he was still actively participating in any sports events held by the Filipino Community of NB. That’s one of the reasons a lot of people get to know how kind, loving, and a great friend before he passed. 

Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, and Friday, September 20, from 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Osborne as celebrant. A final visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on and Saturday, September 21, from 4:00 - 8:00pm.
