My deepest condolences to Bucky's family and friends. I am very sad to learn of his passing. I live in his community with a dog, and we have had some wonderful long chats over the last few years while he was feeding the dog treats and talking to my son - he even helped me out and lent me his battery charger to get my lawn tractor up and running. I am very fortunate to have been able to have a nice long chat in my driveway with Bucky a couple days before his surgery. We will miss you dearly Bucky, Rest In Peace my friend - Until we meet again.

Dear Terry and family. I just heard about Becky’s passing tonight and was shocked. Our family has such fond memories of Bucky, especially for all the years they played hockey on his pond. He always had the ice cleaned off and had a warm room for them to put their skates on. He was one of the best neighbours anyone could ask for. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Jim, Carolyn, Andrew, Matt and Lynn.

Terry,family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. I had a good chat with Bucky a few days before his surgery. I was outside for a change when he was driving by and God love him, he wasn't long in backing up in the driveway to see how I was doing. He was very caring and compassionate man, always thinking of others no matter what he was going through. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and it won't be the same in the subdivision without the Mayor making his rounds. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the families. RIP Bucky Terry Hawkins and family.

I owe so many of my childhood memories to my uncle Bucky. Whether it was hooking Sam dog up to the sled or flooding the backyard to create an ice rink in the winter so we could skate until we froze. I remember how mad he got at Nicole and I the night we came home with an injured owl after finding it while out on the skidoo. Of course he was terrified those talons would injure us but he helped us contain it, and off we went to the animal shelter. I’m sure his grandchildren treasure these kinds of memories too. He will be missed by all who knew him. I am so sorry for your loss, and send my condolences. I wish I could be there in person to pay my respects.

Our condolences to you all.. we enjoyed our conversations with Bucky on our nightly walks around the subdivision. Our dog knew the sound of his car and knew a treat was coming.
