Marguerite was my long time friend. After I moved from Fredericton we kept in touch, beginning a Christmas tradition of sharing long letters in the cards we exchanged. Hers was always the first I received. I will miss her very much. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

So sad to read of Marguerite's passing and also surprised as I had been speaking with her recently. She was her usual upbeat self expressing gratitude for the care of hospital staff, a little joke on her self, and never a complaint. She was painting, enjoying her favourite past time brightening the day. I will always remember her unassuming ways, kindness, and her love of painting and being part of the FSA.

I am one of Marguerite's friends from Stepping Stone. I will miss her very much. She was a lovely person, so kind and thoughtful of others. When I called her at the hospital, her immediate concern was for how my husband and I were feeling. She read me a beautiful poem that she had just written, which will remain with me as one of my many memories of her gentle spirit.
