Ann was was a great friend of our family, for as long as I can remember. Lake George is a magical place. Ann and John helped to make it so... She was such a great friend to my parents, and supported them so much in their final illnesses. Both of my parents wished to spend their last days at Lake George, Ann helped so much in helping their wishes to be granted.
She was always so kind, so full of grace. Her enduring friendship helped my family tremendously.
My family is forever grateful , for this, and we are truly blessed for our lifelong friendship
She was truly a wonderful friend to my parents, Cindy and I.
Our world is a better place for her part in it.
My sincere condolences to John, and her family

we are saddened to hear of Ann s passing. Condolences to John, Sandra & Mike & their families.
Ann was a great friend & neighbor to my parents . We have shared many laughs & stories around the kitchen table. What I remember of Ann was her ability to laugh & find humor in most things , her joy of the Lake George community and her passion to speak her mind . Ann will be fondly remembered

I’m incredibly saddened by the passing of my Aunt Ann, and the loss of one of the kindest people I have known. She was my mother’s (Eda Jamieson Loring) sister, who passed in 1997. I have many memories growing up, of Christmases with massive turkeys and ham roasts, summers at Lake George, lunches at Keay’s Restaurant on York Street, and hanging out at my Mom’s bridal shop (Eda’s Place). Those memories speak to her love of people, and giving nature, whether to her family or friends. Her sense of humour was unforgettable.
After my mom’s passing, she and I grew much closer, and she would call frequently just to check up on me, or vent about the governments’ faults and failures. She gained another daughter in me. She literally saved my life when I needed a car, by offering to sell me one of hers, so I had transportation to a new job. I was so grateful for her generosity, as were so many others.
I will always remember her laugh, her smile, and her tears. No more broken hearts for the family and many friends she lost, one by one, most recently her son Derek. They meant so much to her.
May she rest in true peace, she has earned her Angel wings.
