Karl was a special man. I believe I first met him when he had his shop on Queen Street. It was many years later while my wife and I were square dancing that I met him again on the dance floor. He was the type of person who made you feel special. Our condolences on his passing.

It saddens me to learn about the passing of your father, Karl. Although he was a mighty age, that does precious little to ease the pain that a loss like this leaves in the hearts of those who are left to mourn. You two did certainly enjoy a wonderful relationship and I know that you'll miss him a great deal. Be well, good sir, and do your best to smile through the sadness. You're in my thoughts at this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Karl's passing. In my earlier life, he played a huge part in keeping my bicycles in running order. I lived on Charlotte, not far from his shop on George St. Karl was always the complimentary, cordial gentleman. He loved the outdoors. In later years, he enjoyed the Ducks Unlimited fund raising dinners. He bid on many firearms there. He never forgot my face. Adieu, Karl
