Obituary of Gregory Allan Mander

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Gregory Allan Mander, on April 7, 2021, following a brief illness. Beloved husband of Heather Morgan, New Maryland, NB. Greg was born in Scarborough, Ontario, on August 23, 1947, the son of the late Allan and June (Peel) Mander. Greg retired with Heather to New Maryland, NB, in 2007, after many years in sales and management in Calgary, Alberta. He loved the outdoors and especially fishing on the Dungarvon and the Mirimichi Rivers. In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his stepson, George William Constable (Ottawa, ON), his sister, Nadine Rayner (Scarborough, ON), sister-in-law, Anne (Charles) Pugh (Fredericton, NB), brother-in-law, Peter (Faye) Morgan (PEI), Aunts Yvonne Ferguson (Scarborough, ON) and Verna Burness (Toronto, ON), Uncle Russell Peel (Parksville, BC), special niece, Julie (Robert) Pollard (Whitby, ON), fishing buddy nephew John (Heather) Pugh (Fredericton, NB) and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Greg was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Joy (Terrance) Timothy (PEI). A special thank you to the Emergency Department, ICU, and Palliative Care units at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. There will be no funeral or visitation as per Greg’s request. Interment at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. Donations may be made in Greg’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Forest Hill Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
