So sad to hear of Dummond's passing. Since he moved to Fredericton, we used to see him at Gallery openings, Jeunesses Musicales concerts or PROBUs meetings. A learned and energettic friend. I will miss him.

Having to say goodbye to a good friend and neighbour is difficult. I have enjoyed the company of Drummond and the odd glass or two of wine, along with great conversation and chuckles. He will be sorely missed.

I was privileged to have met Drummond during my years in Fredericton. He was warm, enthusiastic, and hospitable. I still remember the lovely lobster pasta he cooked for lunch. I still have the recipe! RIP Drummond

I was saddened to learn of Drummond's death after such a long life of service and adventure. It amazing to learn and realize from his obituary in the Gleaner today what a full life he led. My deepest condolences and sympathies. I knew Drummond only through his membership in and commitment to Fredericton Heritage Trust but I want to pay tribute to him as a gentleman and scholar and a awarm and caring human being. I am deeply saddened; we have lost a great man with such a life force. What an amazing man he was. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace. Thanks

My condolences and sympathy go out to the whole family. I remember Drummond well from our weekend and Sunday night dinners with my parents Nancy and Tony Antonacci. Drummond fit right in with our Family, enjoying the copious amounts of food and homemade Wine and the wide ranging often volitile conversation. His cheerful, friendly, assertive way of speaking and intelligent, observant comments were much enjoyed by all of us. He was a welcome guest and good friend to all of us.

He gave me very good advice when I was considering a career in medicine, and I have never regretted the decision I made as a result of that discussion. Your parents had such a welcoming home for so many of us in those years. I am glad that you were able to be with your father at the end. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Andrea Graham Battista

I met Joyce briefly in Winnipeg when she kindly donated some work to the University of Winnipeg art collection. And I also met Drummond at that time. We kept in touch when I moved to OCAD U and he made his visits to Toronto. I always enjoyed our wide-ranging conversations about art and travel when we met over a restaurant lunch. And through him, I met Richard at Bay Bloor. Drummond was a fascinating conversationalist. I will always remember his enthusiasm for the world. My condolences.
