Dear Charlie, Ruthi and I (Dave) have such wonderful memories of our times together with you both (and your kids) while in China and Hong Kong, and while intersecting in other parts of Asia. Betty (your Pie) is truly a delightful and sweet friend. They just don't get any better! Although we are persuaded that your/our dear Betty is in such an incredibly better place, free from the burdens of this life and now together with our Lord and all those who have gone before, our hearts still ache over your/our tremendous sense of loss.
