Obituary of Waldo Sterling McFarlane

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Waldo Sterling McFarlane at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, July 17th, 2021, at the age of 90. Waldo is survived by his children; Charlene Plume, Brenda Hubert and Daniel McFarlane, grandchildren; Lee Collings and Jennifer Lutes. Waldo was fortunate to have known his great grandchildren; Kitrina Turcotte, Alex Tobin, Drew Lutes, and Emily Lutes. He never had the pleasure of meeting his great-great grandson Cole Turcotte. Waldo is predeceased by his wife Marina, his sister Thelma Morgan and brother Ira McFarlane. A private graveside service will take place at New Maryland United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Waldo’s memory may be made to the heart and stroke foundation.
