Obituary of Marilyn Yerxa

It is with sadness that the family of Marilyn Yerxa announces her death at home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the age of 78. Born in Scotch Settlement, NB, on March 12, 1943, she was the wife of the late Royden Yerxa. Marilyn leaves behind her son, Wayne Yerxa; daughters, Sheila Munn (Cecil) and Tina Haye; grandson, Matthew LeBritton; brother, Phil Yerxa (June); sister Judy, as well as many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her husband, Royden, Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Eldon Yerxa and Myrtle (Gray) Whitehead; brother, Howard (Charlotte) A visitation will be held from McAdam’s Funeral Home on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2 pm, with Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of vaccination and identification will be required for entry to the gathering. Interment will take place at the Mactaquac Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Marilyn’s memory can be made to the SPCA.
