Dear Jennifer, Please know that we are praying that you feel the comforting arms of our Lord around you and your son at this very sad time in your life. this message is for Preston's and your parents as well because they will have loved your husband too. It is an awful blow coming at what is normally such a happy time of the year. But there is no good time for death. It hurts and hurts until you think you cannot take it anymore, but if the Lord is listening we will make His presence known to you and yours to let you all all that He is looking after you. I believe this with all my heart and soul. Take good care of yourself, Jenn, and of your little boy. With love to you all, Shiela & John White

I am so sorry to read of the loss of Preston for all of you. When one day changes your life forever you never forget it. I remember Preston as a quiet young man in class with my son Matthew Forbes who we lost in a house fire in 2004. No one can ever be prepared to bury their child, somehow we move on . Help each other and Jenn and Pat you will watch his son to grow up to be the fine young man he was. Cherish your memories and carry on your dreams. I can't say it gets better it just changes. Preston will always be a part of my "Murray Beach Family". He was the oldest of us kids and I know we all looked up to him, literally and figuratively. he was funny, fun, fair, imaginative, brave, athletic and wise beyond his years. He was one of the best playmates a kid could ask for. I can picture him biking around leaning high above his handlebars coasting along. Or playing frisbee with Lucky. We'd always fight over who got Preston on their team, because before the game was even played, there was no doubt that the winning team was the one with Preston on it. When he introduced us all to Jenny at Murray beach one summer, it was like she'd practically been there from the start. It was so blatantly obvious that they simply just fit together. Each complimenting the other so well in their differences and similarities. I've always treasured Murray beach memories. There was no place I'd rather spend my summers. A good place to grow up and make memories with some of the best people. When I'm having a campfire on a cool summer night, I'll always remember the kid that was part of making my summers so fun, who grew into a good man that took care of his family. ~Rest easy friend~ My deepest condolences to Jenn & Ben, Pat & George and family.
