Obituary of Charles Albert Russell

Charles "Chuck" passed away on December 25th, 2021 at York Care Centre, Fredericton. Born on December 12th, 1936, he was the son of the late Allan and Lena Russell and was the loving partner of 30 years to the late Roberta Rayner. He is survived by his sister, Pauline Henderson, brother, James Russell and many nephews and cousins. Chuck spent five years of his career working as a clerk with the air force in Greenwood, Nova Scotia before moving to Toronto, Ontario, to work at the Don Jail. New Brunswick was always home to Chuck which is why he returned to Fredericton and worked with the NB liquor commission. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of York Care Centre for the care and compassion they showed Charles while he was in their care. Respecting Chucks wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. For those who wish, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA or a charity of donor’s choice.
