Dear Carolyn and Family
There are no words to describe a wonderful soul who filled the world with beautiful music and influenced so many with his teaching and, for many, his joyful personality. Growing up in Woodstock I had, as my neighbor and closest friend, the delightful Carolyn Ingraham, who became my life-long dearest friend. I was honored to be in the wedding party and to witness their loving partnership over the years. Bill will remain in our hearts forever. Heaven has gained an angel and, as so many have said, a beautiful voice in the Choir of Angels. Deepest sympathy and love to you all as you share precious memories. Love and Prayers, Diane Gorman Flynn and my mother, Marg, who holds you close to her heart, Carolyn.

Carolyn and family,
Our deepest and heartfelt condolences for your loss of Bill. To say he was a wonderful human being is definitely an understatement. He impacted so many lives, mine included. He was patient, understanding and forgiving. In my case , add diplomatic. For a number of years I was a member of the junior choir at St. Luke’s Anglican in Woodstock. At a certain age, my voice changed and that greatly affected my singing ability. After many attempts at practices, and individual coaching from Bill,he very diplomatically said it might be a good idea for me to find another role I could play at church.
Bill will be remembered by many for years to come. I have no doubt he has already formed an amazing choir in heaven.

Carolyn and Family,
I'm sorry for your loss. At Woodstock High School in 1955 or 56 I took a music class that Bill offered. I enjoyed the class even though Bill wasn't as interested in County Music as I was. He did give me a fairly good mark on a paper I passed in to him on Wilf Carter.

Childhood memories of him are so vivid in my mind. I have also heard how much he loved my grandmothers chocolate cake with her special frosting.
The world is a little bit dimmer without his laugh & enthusiasm. But, the memories will stay with you & make you laugh every time.
How privileged we all were to have known him.
Hugs to all of you…..

Virginia and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing.
Your Dad was an icon of Woodstock. One of my favourite memories of him was seeing him walk/skip by my home on Orange St, a big smile on his face and you could hear him singing/humming a tune. What a gentleman, so full of joy and he spread that wherever he was present. My whole family thought the world of him. May he rest in peace.
God Bless,
Donna (Lenentine) Branscombe

Bill was a wonderful man. I first met him when as a young man I worked at CJCJ Radio in Woodstock. Bill would come in for his weekly classical music program. He and Carolyn were always very fun and friendly. The were two of the nicest people I ever met. Bill always had a big smile and laugh. My condolences to Carolyn and the family. I didn't hear of his passing in January so this came as a shock to me. R.I.P. Bill. I'm sure you're directing Heavens Choir.
