Obituary of Oscar J. Doucette

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Oscar J. Doucette on January 16, 2022 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on February 26, 1940 in Collette, he was the son of the late Helene (Pitre) and Isidore Doucette and dear husband to the late Lillianne (Martin) Doucette. Oscar is survived by his two brothers Adelard (late Ozelia) and Alderic (late Amanda) and three sisters Elvina (late Martin Goguen), Dorina (James Cameren) and Geraldine (Patrick Arseneau) as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by so many. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brothers Guillaume, Alexis, and Edmond and sister Florine (Rheal Cassie). Oscar worked at Chipin Meat for 29 years before he moved on to other employment. He loved sports and was good at them all, though his favourite was golf. Due to the current COVID restrictions, there will be no service or visitation at this time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Ste Anne des Pays Bas Catholic Church at a later date.
