I played a lot of soccer with Andy who was very passionate about the sport. He was a person who put a lot of effort in the Old Boys Soccer team. My condolences to all his family. Soccer will miss him.

My deepest sympathies and prayers to Andy's Mother, Valerie, and to Andy's brothers and sisters. Andy was an old and dear friend, and although the passing of years meant we didn't see each other regularly, when we met up those years just dropped away. My sympathies also to the local soccer community to which Andy committed a great deal of his time and energy to make successful.

Andy was a class act. I first met Andy as my under 16 soccer coach. He was great teacher of the game. I then got to play soccer with Andy as a Galleon and then later in the Old boys league. I can still hear him screaming "ANDY's" as he went up to get any header. You could hear him calling for the ball 2 fields over! Lastly I remember sharing many pints with Andy at the Rogue after our games. He had an amazing passion for the beautiful game. Rest in Peace Andy... keep yelling for that head ball. You will be missed

Saddened to hear the passing of a great teammate, friend and volunteer. Andy always had time stop and talk even when busy working and has been mentioned, he could be heard, loud and clear, across any and all pitches. Will miss his voice.

My deepest sympathy to Andy's family. I played soccer against Andy for years in the senior league and later with Andy as an Old Boy. It was Andy who got me back into playing soccer as an 'old boy' after several years of not playing (thank you Andy). He was always a great sportsman and teammate. I'm very sorry for your loss and will remember Andy fondly.

I first met Andy back in the early 90s as part of the FSSL. He was one of the early builders of the leagues that are running strong today. You don't find this level of organization elsewhere in NB. He was a hard worker and a great lover of the beautiful game. My condolences to his close friends and family.

It is with sadness today that I read of Andy's passing. I was fortunate to sit on the FDSA Board in the early 90's and met Andy at my first board meeting. We have been friends from that moment on . He was one of the foundation blocks of Soccer in our community and his passion for the game will be everlasting. I will miss his visits to our Inn with many special individuals, he truly had a good heart . So Sorry for your loss . John&Anne Waite

My condolences to his family and friends. Like many, many others, I was one of the people that was welcomed into the Fredericton soccer family by Andy. Over the years I had the pleasure of being his teammate both on the field and with the FSSL executive. Andy - I hope you now have a great seat at Anfield and a Guinness in your hand. Thanks for everything you did for the beautiful game. R.I.P. my friend.

Dear Andy, what a wonderful friend you were to me in High School. I'm glad we touched base a few years ago via email. Sports and record clubs were our common bond. I was back in Fredericton the night you were honored by Soccer NB but missed it. A true sportsman whose spirit always made the event more than just about the game. Looks like you made a huge difference in many lives. We'll done.
