Obituary of Rosemary Margaret Burpee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Margaret Burpee (neé Murphy) of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Douglas Ross Burpee. Born in St. John's, NL, she was the daughter of the late Rosalie and Michael Murphy. She was the last surviving member of her family. Rosemary is survived by her son, Douglas (Terry) of New Maryland, NB; daughters, Deborah of Vancouver, BC, and Catherine (Andrew) of Ottawa, ON; two grandchildren, Karen (Oscar Manu) of Ottawa, ON, and Ryan (Thea Gegenburg) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Rosemary was a devoted member of St. Dunstan's Parish. There will be no visitation at her request. A private family service will be held at a later time. For those who wish, donations in Rosemary's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
