It must be so difficult to have both parents pass away so close together. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I don't know if you remember, but I often babysat you 1970-1972 when I was in Teachers College. Your parents,Uncle Irvine, and Kay were always good to me. Alarmed by Nancy scooting off the bed, I later always changed my own children on the floor.

Such a wonderful couple - such a wonderful family. Jim and I always enjoyed the company of Marjory and Paul - usually at the Tait home where we would enjoy a game of bridge or a delicious barbeque supper. Great memories...

Those of us who live on Heather Terrace have always regarded the Rouse family as part of our neighborhood. We knew them (and the little white dog) as good neighbors, friendly and pleasant. The move to Shannex by Marjorie and Paul did mark an end to an era, now finalized with the passing of your dad, Paul. We will miss them.

Nancy, Carol, David, Michael...So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. It has been a tough spring for you guys. Your Dad was well loved and respected and he and your Mom made a great team. I had the privilege of working with Paul for many years in the NBDOT Planning Branch and on a number of committees at Brunswick Street Baptist Church. He was always a great mentor and encourager of those he worked with. May you experience God's love and comfort as you now support one another and share the many fond memories you have of family life together.

Dale and Carol Bray posted a condolence
To the family of Paul Rouse Carol and I wish to extend our sympathy to you at the passing of Paul on May 7. We certainly enjoyed our visits with Paul and Marjorie at their home on Smythe Street then at their new 'home' at Shannex. I knew Paul in his role as one of the leaders within the Department of Transportation. My main interaction with Paul was during my years at Brunswick Street Baptist Church. His contribution to the Planning Committee for the new Family Life Centre was particularly helpful. He was able to bring his wide experience as an engineer to the oversight and direction concerning the new Family Life Centre. Paul led a long and productive life. We do give thanks for all that he has done over the years for his family, for his profession, for his community and for his church in Fredericton. Blessings, Dale and Carol Bray
