Our prayers and thoughts are with you Lucie, as we learn of Hughes passing. As you know, he and I worked side by side for all of his career at VFP and enjoyed great friendship both at our jobs and outside of work. He demanded attention when he had something to say but was always willing to listen to others point of view. I remember one time at at convention in Quebec when about 15 of our colleagues were enjoying an evening of discussions and drinks and when we were nearly done, he, in his strong voice, turned to the waiter and said, "Rex will pick up the bill", and of course all agreed. Needless to say, I paid the bill with pleasure, because that was just Hughie. We all loved him and respected him. He will be greatly missed.
