Obituary of Krista L. Coy
Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories. Our beloved Krista completed her life’s journey with dignity and grace on Sunday, July 5, 2020, while a resident at Hospice House, Fredericton. Born November 2, 1965 in Fredericton, she was a daughter of Wayne Tucker and Phyllis (Lyons-Tucker) Storey "Bobby".
Krista was a dedicated and faithful member of Capital Community Church, Fredericton, and along with her husband, Greg, served in various capacities and ministries within the church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and brought so much joy to everyone she met. Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye and in every gesture, dignity and love. Krista was employed at UNB in the Chemistry Department where she made many lasting friendships. She will be greatly missed by her fellow co-workers.
Her amazing love of family lives on through her devoted husband of 31 years, Greg, and her sons, who made her so proud, Nelson (Gisele) and Elliot (Shannon). Her grandchildren, Lillian and Liam and one more grandchild soon to be born, will dearly miss grandma’s hugs. In addition to her parents, Wayne and Phyllis, Krista is also survived by her only sibling, Roxanne Munn (Dennis),niece, Shannon and great niece Eloise; an aunt and uncle and many cherished and loved members of the Coy family and a host of friends. She touched many hearts during her brief time on earth.
There will be a public visitation held at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing St., Fredericton on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 6 to 9 PM which will allow friends and congregants an opportunity to pay their respects without breaking the social distancing requirements. Capital Community Church and McAdam’s Funeral Home will have staff available to advise church members and guests on procedures. A service celebrating the life of Krista Louise Coy will be held at Capital Community Church on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Raymond Woodward will officiate assisted by Rev. Jack Leaman. A private interment will be held in the Burtt’s Corner Community Cemetery.
