Obituary of Wayne Stafford

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Wayne Stafford at the York Care Centre on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Born in Marysville, New Brunswick on June 25, 1946, he was the son of the late Doug Stamford of Marysville, and the late Mary Bartlett Peters of St. Stephen, NB. Wayne leaves behind his sons Andrew (Angie) and Peter, Fredericton NB; his brother Roger, Ontario; his sister Linda Ogden, Alberta; 3 grandchildren as well as many friends and family. In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his son, Michael of Fredericton, NB. There will be a visitation at McAdams Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Funeral home staff will be on hand to help with Covid-19 procedures. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will be held at 12:45 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will take place at the funeral home followed by an interment at the Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the IWK, Heart and Stroke, the NB Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
