My sincerest condolences, peace and love from Julie Harvey. (Stahle) Daughter of the late Allan John Harvey.
Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Bob in person, I was able to connect with him online a few years ago when I was trying to learn more about my ancestry on the Harvey side. Even though we had never met and I had sent him a message through the app he was very kind sent me his email and we had a few very pleasant exchanges. After reading more about his obituary here, I feel happy to know that he has touched many lives for the better, has an educator, friend and family member. Hugs and love from Ontario.xoxo

Deepest sympathy to the Harvey family as you mourn the loss of your loved one. I did not know Bob personally, but he was a close friend and colleague of my brother, Keith Gorman, for many years. Keith always spoke so fondly of "Harv", as he called him. He was an outstanding educator whose influence will live on in the many lives he touched. May you be comforted by your wonderful memories and find peace in the days ahead. Sincerely, Diane Gorman Flynn

Bob “Harv” was a wonderful teacher, coach and friend! After attending his wake last evening, I noticed how many of his friends and colleagues attended. He was well respected by our community! Also how many different generations of students he impacted. he touched many lives. And his legacy lives on in his children and beautiful grandchildren! They had wonderful, loving comments about their dad and Grampie! That speaks volumes about Bobs life! He will be missed!
Sincere condolences from Gail and Derek MacFarlane

I am so sorry to read of Bobby Harvey's obituary.....What a SHOCK....We grew up together on Chestnut Street. His family moved into 679 Chestnut St....which my family had lived in before we moved to 661 Chestnut St. I can remember one incident which I recall as a teenager.....Teddy Sparks....please be prepared.....Bob was quite a prankster as it so happened....Teddy was locked out of the house at 679 Chestnut St.... in his underwear at the backdoor of the house.....There was a lot of noise and banging on the backdoor,,,,Let me in......Thank goodness this was in the summertime...and finally they let him in....I don't know if Neil was there at the time but I assume it was Bobby who locked him out......Could you imagine if it was in the winter....Holy Smokes.....God Bless....Happy Memories.. We had a lot of fun in those days Capture the Flag was a popular one with 'Bill" MacDonald who boarded at the Worths...We lived in a great neighbourhood when we were growing up and we have lost a lot of great people, friends and stories on Chestnut St. Take Care

Bob was not only a great contemporary of mine but a friend as well. He will be remembered for his kind but firm manner, his dry wit and the love he had for storytelling. Although this is a shock to realize he has left us, yet we have the wonderful memories of our association with him. I think back to one particular fishing trip we took along with Wayne Guptil...it was a great one and one I shall cherish always. Linda and I send our condolences to the family members and may you find peace in the legacy he has left with all of us. God bless. Hazen Webb

My condolences to Bob’s near and extended family. He often talked with pride and warmth of his family and particularly the challenges, adventures, and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
I enjoyed our weekly lunch gatherings for it was often on these occasions Bob regaled us with stories and ‘yarns’. He had so many stories because he knew and touched the lives of so many people. He was generous in both words and deed. I will miss Bob and our weekly get-togethers.
