Norman, I am very sorry to hear about your Mum. She has been part of the McAllister family as her portraits of we four kids travel around with us all. I used to participate in her art classes and babysit for you so I got to know her well when I was a teenager. I am sorry for you loss. Elizabeth McAllister

Norman and family, I was deeply saddened to learn of your Mother’s passing. I first met Marjory in the early 1970’s when I was tasked with overseeing the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame induction event. One of my “jobs” was to provide her with material for the inductee portraits, and thus began a long association and friendship. Marjory did all the portraits from 1970 thru 1996 (135 in all) and each one was a labour of love. Her work was exceptional, and she literally worked up until a few days before the event, capturing the essence of each inductee. She took a personal interest in her subjects and their sports, often visiting venues where they had played. She was a delightful person, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with her.
