To Sharla, Derrick and the rest of the family.... I haven't seen Sharon in many years. My memories of her are from the 1950s and 60s as we both attended Bethel Baptist Church in Minto, with our families. As has been said already...God gave Sharon a wonderful smile. Sharla, Derrick and Rylan - Sending my most sincere condolences on the loss of your mom/grandmom. I lived in the Lincoln area and used to babysit Sharla back when your mom and dad would go out to the dances. This was on Aquarias Street. My sister Rosemary (formerly Toole) lived on the same street and babysat Sharla while your mom/grandmom worked. Sharla, you were a gem to take care of! I used to meet up with your mom on occassion and we would have a great chat catching up on our lives - she always had such a sunny disposition! I'm so very, very sorry to read that she has passed. What a wonderful photo of her - truly captures the essence of her!

Sharon was always my very favorite person at OPH . So very competent , always helpful ,always supportive . Her sunny disposition made her a delight to be around. She was open and kind and friendly to everyone. She was very much respected for the person she was , a trusted colleague and friend. Anyone who knew her knew she was so very proud of her family. She was a lovely and loving person. It was a privilege and an honor to know her.

I was saddened to learn of the death of my neighbour and former colleague Sharon. I had the pleasure of working with her during her time at OPH where she was respected and loved by the staff.
